Lately, Infinix has been bringing some great smartphones to the market. There was a time when Realme and Xiaomi used to bring some spicy smartphone features but now these companies are pretty much established and do not take crazy rides like before. However, Infinix and Tecno are filling in the gap left by the Chinese companies. Now, they are all-set to launch their new Infinix Note 40 series, and it will also bring an in-house Cheetah X1 chip.
Infinix is bringing the Note 40 series globally on March 18. The phones will be introduced in an event taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For those unaware, the Note series is a popular mid-range smartphone lineup targeting mostly at high performance while keeping the cost lower.
This time there will be four members in the family of Infinix Note 40 Series. The family includes the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro Plus 5G.
To create the hype, the company has started teasing new details about the smartphones. One of the highlighting feature is the Cheetah X1 chip, which is Infinix’s own homemade processor.
Infinix Cheetah X1 Chip: Can It Play PUBG At 240Hz?
Oh yes, the main question from the title: Can the Infinix Cheetah X1 chip make the smartphones play PUBG at much higher frame rate? No, of course not. It is not going to be a chip that is powering the phones. On the contrary, it is a power management chip that forms the foundation of the new All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology in the Note 40 series.
What it means is that the new chip is just going to optimize your smartphone’s battery so it does not explode. Why was it necessary? Well, first of all Infinix is expected to introduce crazy high speed charging speed in the coming phones.
The Infinix Note 40 series will feature the company’s fastest charging phone available commercially. This is where the Cheetah X1 chip shines. Plus, being honest, the company wanted to grab your attention by launching a chip with an aggressive name that does nothing but optimize charging.
Finally, the series may bring the knockoff of MagSafe charging to Infinix. Of course, we need magnets to charge our cheap Androids. Why be racist?
I will not keep writing because the phones will be unveiled in just 6 days for now. So kindly wait and checkout the official news yourself.
