The Chinese company, OnePlus, is preparing to launch its next-gen flagship phone. It will be the successor to the OnePlus 13 and will be named as OnePlus 15. If you are wondering what happened to the OnePlus 14, well, it was skipped because the number 14 is considered a bad omen in China. That said, now we have new information regarding the upcoming phones from the company.

A prominent tipster that goes by the name Tech Geek on Weibo has revealed interesting information. According to him, OnePlus will launch two new smartphones: the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6. Further, he adds that they will be released in October 2025.

OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R Launch Timeline, Renders & Details LeaksBefore you get too excited, it must be noted that this release is for the Chinese market only. The global launch, meaning the launch in markets outside China, is likely in Q1 2026.

Moving to the devices, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to feature a brand new display from BOE. It will be a smaller panel than the OnePlus 13 and will even have a lower resolution. But the company will compensate with a higher refresh rate of 165Hz.  Additionally, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The battery capacity may see a jump to more than 7,000mAh. The tipster emphasizes that the OnePlus 15 is going to focus on performance. Though it will still have a complete rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto sensor.

For those of you wondering about the OnePlus Ace 6, it will be an upper mid-range offering. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Globally, it may launch as the successor to the OnePlus 13R, with the moniker “OnePlus 15R.” The rest of the specs remain a mystery for now.

Before the conclusion, it is worth noting that the leaker also shared a render (check featured image) of both phones. By no means is this render official, but it still gives us a rough clue of the new design language. The OnePlus 15 departs from the circular camera design found on its predecessors with a square housing. Meanwhile, the Ace 6 / OnePlus 15R seems elegant with a vertical camera setup.

    TLDR:

    • OnePlus is expected to launch two phones in October.

Design DifferencesHuawei Mate 70 Pro vs. Mate 60 Pro

At first glance, both the Mate 60 Pro and the Mate 70 Pro maintain the sleek, minimalist design that Huawei is known for. However, subtle changes in the design language reflect Huawei’s continuous evolution in its flagship series.

    • Camera Module: Both models feature the distinctive circular camera module, but the Mate 70 Pro’s module has been slightly refined. The Mate 60 Pro’s camera module is more straightforward, while the Mate 70 Pro introduces additional design elements, such as a prominent “AI-DC” marking, suggesting an upgrade in AI capabilities and digital processing.

    Specifications: A Leap in Performance

The leaked images provide crucial details about the differences in the internals between the two models:

    • Processor: The Mate 70 Pro is equipped with the newer Kirin 9100 chipset, a step up from the Kirin 9000S found in the Mate 60 Pro. This upgrade likely offers better performance, enhanced efficiency, and improved AI processing capabilities, making the Mate 70 Pro a more powerful device.
    • Display: Both phones sport a 6.82-inch curved display, but the Mate 70 Pro might benefit from a display technology, given the trend in flagship devices.

  • Redmi Note 14 Pro Exclusive Leak: Fresh Bold Design

Redmi Note 14 Pro Exclusive Leak: Fresh Bold Design

The Redmi Note 14 series is coming, and it is not long before we will get official information. It has been a tradition for years that the Redmi Note lineup is released in September or October in China. The previous Redmi Note 13 lineup was announced in September 2023 (in China). Hence, we have high hopes that we are going to see the new lineup in the coming months in China followed by a global launch in late 2024 or early 2025. That said, we have got our initial view of the Redmi Note 14 Pro. Let’s check it out!

    Redmi Note 14 Pro

The leaked render showcases a striking departure from previous models. The Redmi Note 14 Pro features a large, roundish square camera module that houses multiple lenses, including what is rumored to be a 50MP primary sensor. This is kind of a big refresh that the Redmi Note series had to get. After all, the previous lineup was a bit boring with its horizontally aligned camera cut-out.

This squarish camera module offers something unique to the table. It is not fully round like its biggest competitor Realme 13 series and many other phones in the market with a circular rear module. Additionally, the silver frame of the camera module will also add to the aesthetics of the phone especially in colors such as black.

    Rumored Specifications

The device is expected to feature a dual-micro-curved screen—a first for the series. This type of screen design not only enhances the visual appeal but also improves the in-hand feel, making it more comfortable to hold and use. We may also see a bump in the resolution from FHD+ to 1.5K.

This time the Realme 13 series primarily focuses on camera advancements. Hence, Redmi will also bring something spicier with its number lineup. It is expected to feature a 50MP primary shooter. Along with it, expect an ultra-wide shooter. However, it will be interesting to see if Redmi will bring a periscope telephoto lens in this series or not.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro set a high bar with its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 5100mAh battery, and 67W fast charging. These features made it a strong contender in the mid-range market, offering a smooth performance and impressive battery life. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to build on these strengths while having a new fresh design and other advancements.

While details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro are still under wraps, it’s reasonable to expect incremental improvements. Stay tuned on TechBoilers.com to get the exciting tech news and join the world of enthusiasts!
