iQOO is a sub-brand of Vivo. The current flagship offering of the company is the iQOO 13. It is expected to be succeeded by the iQOO 15 later this year. However, there might be more than models in the iQOO 15 lineup.
The IQOO 13 was a sole member, meaning there was no model or version of the device. However, we may see around three models in the next-gen series. A tipster on Weibo has revealed that the iQOO’s next flagship series will include a standard model and a gaming-oriented model.
The tipster that goes by the name 智慧皮卡丘 on Weibo further reveals that both devices will feature the same DNA. Both may feature large Samsung displays with a 2K resolution. The iQOO 15 and the iQOO 15 Gaming Edition are tipped to come with a triple rear camera setup featuring a periscope telephoto lens. They may have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for secure and faster unlocking. They are said to have a dual-chip system, i.e, the main chipset along with a co-processor aiding in improving gaming performance. Lastly, the phones are tipped to support wireless charging.
The iQOO 15 Gaming Edition is rumored to come with an esports design language. It may also have shoulder buttons and a fan for cooling down the phone during intensive gaming sessions. It is said to compete against the well-known RedMagic gaming phones.
As mentioned above, there are said to be ‘three’ new models in the iQOO 15 series. Apart from the standard and e-sports gaming model, we may see a compact version too. Reports suggest it will be named the iQOO 15 Mini and launch with a 6.3-inch display. Its highlight will be providing a large battery capacity in a small housing.
