The Redmi Note 12 Pro has only recently arrived in Pakistan, but Xiaomi has already announced the next generation Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with significant upgrades. The phone is launching later this month in China as a collaborative effort between Redmi, Samsung, and MediaTek.
Redmi has confirmed to include three models at the beginning: the vanilla Note 13, the Note 13 Pro, and the Note 13 Pro+.
A Breakthrough in Mobile Photography
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor with a hefty 1/1.4-inch sensor size. This 200MP camera is advertised as the fastest in the industry.
Lu Weibing, the general manager of Redmi, emphasized that this series would push the frontiers of photographic capabilities in low-cost smartphones yet again, indicating a substantial breakthrough in picture quality standards for the mobile phone sector.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro (without the Plus) may also have the same 200MP main camera sensor.
A Powerful and Efficient Processor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 13+
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is going to be the first phone that features MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset based on TSMC’s 4nm process. It will allow the phone to utilize the massive 200MP camera’s capabilities efficiently.
The D7200U has an eight-core CPU design, according to the claims. This configuration also has two Cortex-A715 cores running at 2.8GHz, in addition to six Cortex-A510 cores. Furthermore, it includes the energy-efficient AI processor APU 650 as well as the Arm Mali-G610 GPU.
Although Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced a debut date for the Redmi Note 13 series, the continuous teaser campaign should reveal it soon enough.
