Apple has yet again amazed the audience with its innovation. The company has finally launched the VR/AR headset called the “Apple Vision Pro”. The announcement of this headset finally proves all the leaks and rumours ongoing from the past 2/3 years. Here is everything;
Apple Vision Pro
The Apple Vision Pro is a headset made by Apple. Apple has targetted this headset to developers but in their demo, they also show everyone wearing it.
Apple has showcased the headset as being so easy to use that everyone can use it, from development all the way to entertainment.
“There are certain products that shift the way we look at technology and the role it plays in our lives,”. “This is just the beginning.”

Looks
The device looks like a futuristic skiing mask. There is a big glass panel at the front with 4 cameras, and an aluminium frame, containing five sensors, 12 cameras, the display, and a computer that’s apparently cooled with a fan. On the back, there is a band that wraps around your head. The band uses mesh and cloth like the headband of the AirPods Max.
Usage
Vision Pro is positioned as primarily an AR device, but it can switch between augmented and full virtual reality using a dial. But you can completely switch to VR mode if you please. The headset does not require any controller, instead, it uses the cameras on the inside to track the moment of your eyeballs. Then you can use gestures or voice commands to further control.
You can set multiple displays in AR space and control them however you want. You can surf the web, watch a movie, or full-on edit on Adobe Photoshop by pairing the magic mouse and magic keyboard.
The device is supposed to be your workstation as well as your entertainment centre.
This is the most advanced personal electronics device ever

The device is also shown to be used for educational and medical purposes.
Specifications
The headset uses the Apple M2 chipset and a new R1 chipset. We see detachable battery packs which you can carry in your pocket and only one cable will attach to the headset.
The glass on the front will also display your eyes when you are using the cameras to see the real world. The display will turn black from the outside if you are occupied. The display is 4K and very high quality.
Meetings
Yes, online meetings will now be different with this. You can use spatial audio to do things like arrange FaceTime participants as “video tiles” around the room. And you can capture and “relive” 180-degree video with a 3D camera while inside the headset.
Applications
The Apple Vision Pro will support many applications which are available on the iPhones and iPads, however, even more applications will be released.
Security
Apple has some new technology to make this headset secure. They have introduced an Optic ID which scans your retinas to unlock the device. For other applications, all the camera feed and processing is done inside the headset so no data has to be sent anywhere. I have to say good job on this one!
Price & Availability
The Apple Vision Pro will cost $3,499 (PKR 1 Million)
