A new report has come forward, the Google Pixel 7, as well as the Google Pixel 6 phones, have been facing battery drainage issues and reportedly overheating even when not in use. Here is everything;
Google Pixel 7 Battery Drain
After the latest updates to some of the applications, users started reporting battery drain issues with their phones.
The battery started to go down faster even when I wasn’t using the smartphone, reported one user.
While another user reported that the smartphone was heating up too much even when not being used.
When some of the troubled users went on Reddit they saw that this Pixel 7 Battery Drain issue was very common but no one knew the reason.
Then it was found that and update to the Google app was causing it to drink the battery, rolling it to previous versions solved the issue foe some people but others are still experiancing this nightmare.
Pixel 6 Overheating
Now, the Pixel 6 users started to notice their phones overheating a lot. They too tried to rollback the Google app update but it did not have any effect on the battery.
I hope Google is working on an update to fix the issues, as this seems to be a software problem.
