Nothing Phone (2) will be launching soon around July. The device has been teased officially via the Nothing Twitter handle and website. Furthermore, the device has been spotted on the BIS certification which indicates that the actual launch itself isn’t far away. The model number for the Nothing Phone (2) is AIN065. Previously, the Phone (1) was a hit as the brand has sold more than 100k units in India only. The device was the best seller in its price category.
The device boasted a 120Hz OLED panel with symmetrical bezels. Moreover, it was powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset and debuted an all-new glyph interface. Nothing kept it simple in terms of software and was praised for its approach towards software experience. Overall, it was a great first phone from an enthusiastic brand.
Nothing Phone (2) Design
There haven’t been any leaks about the design of the device yet. However, don’t expect any drastic changes. Considering that they made minor changes with the Nothing Ear (2), they won’t be making any major changes to the design of the Phone (2). This will be more of a refinement upgrade rather than a generational one. However, one major upgrade will be the performance of course. This is a good path in my opinion. In this way, the brand will develop brand recognition in terms of design. What do you think about this? Would you like a major design change or are you happy with the current design with a few changes? Let us know in the comments.
Nothing Phone (2) Specifications
Nothing Phone (2) is confirmed to have a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. It is huge news as one of the main concerns shown by consumers was that the chipset wasn’t up to the mark. Nothing compared their device to the iPhone, however, the performance was nowhere near the iPhone. In this context, this is huge that the brand is now actually building a flagship-grade device in terms of performance.
Furthermore, the chipset rumored to be used in the Nothing Phone (2) is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Other details haven’t been confirmed yet. However, the rumor mill never stops. The device is expected to have a 120Hz OLED panel. Moreover, the charging speed is expected to be increased for a 5000 mAh cell. There will be a refined glyph lighting system with RGB lights expected. Moreover, a silent switch like the iPhone may be making its way to the Nothing Phone’s second edition. What do you think about this? Would you like a major design change or are you happy with the current design with an incremental spec bump? Let us know in the comments.
