iOS 17 rumors and leaks have been building up for quite some time now. Previously, it was expected to be a refinement update to the buggy and somewhat weak iOS 16. However, this seems to have changed now. iOS 17 is now expected to bring some of the most requested features to the iPhone. That could mean so much. iOS 17 is named ‘Dawn’ internally. Maybe more customization features are in the works, who knows? We have some rumors about the iOS 17 which has been making rounds on the internet for a while now.
iOS 17 Rumors
Firstly, the feature that was announced last year will be getting more customization options. That is the lock screen. iOS 17 may introduce font resizing on the lock screen. Moreover, another feature may be added which will allow you to share your lock screen designs with others. Moving on, another major improvement is rumored to be headed to the control center. The control center may be revamped altogether.
Furthermore, you will be able to get Apple Music lyrics on your lock screen as well. Talking about Apple Music, the Apple Music app will be getting a redesign, and the new design will be minimal and simplified. In addition, you will get an option to sort your App Library. You will be able to rename folders in your App Library. Another minor change will be related to the flashlight. You will be able to adjust the flashlight brightness freely at any level.
WWDC 2023
WWDC 2023 dates have been officially announced by Apple. The event will be held from June 5th to 9th. There will be several announcements including iOS 17, the latest versions of MacOS, iPadOS, and WatchOS. Moreover, the much-awaited augmented reality glasses may also be announced at the week-long event.
Current Apple Developer Program members, Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni, prior Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members can apply for a special event held at Apple Park. Moreover, selected people will get their emails on the 5th of April. Furthermore, they will be able to attend to keynote physically and attend the Apple design awards as well.
Online sessions will be provided to developers to allow them to learn about new features of the software iterations which will be announced at the event. Moreover, Swift Student Challenge will also be held at WWDC 2023 like in previous years.
