Google Pixel 7a will be launching at the Google event which is slated to be held on the 10th of May. It will be the last member of the Pixel 7 series. The Pixel 7a will bring the flagship goodness at an affordable price. Steve Hemmerstoffer has revealed the renders of the Pixel 7a in all its official colors.

The 7a will be a smaller phone than the standard 7. Therefore, compact phone lovers will be in for a treat. The Pixel 7a will roughly measure 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0mm. It will be a bit thicker, wider, and taller than the Google Pixel 6a but the difference will be minute. The 6a’s dimensions measure 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm. Overall, the design looks identical to the Pixel 7.

Moreover, the bottom side of the device will house the USB-C port and the speaker grills. Bezels will be minimal with a slightly thicker chin and the selfie shooter will be housed inside a centered punch-hole. Furthermore, the rear volume and power buttons will be placed on the right side of the device.

Expected Specifications

The device is expected to have an upgraded 90Hz display from the 60Hz on the 6a. In addition, it will have the prowess of the Tensor G2 chipset. The material at the rear is not yet confirmed as the device is expected to have 5W wireless charging. Therefore, the device may use glass or aluminum at the back.

Adding on, the rear cameras will also be changed quite a bit. The rumored setup will be a 64MP main sensor with a 13MP ultra-wide lens. While the front selfie shooter will be an 11MP sensor. Specifications are not yet fully confirmed. These are only rumors and some of them might be true and some of them might change as it is still early days. Let us know what would you like to be different in the 7a from the 6a.
