Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be launching soon in the ongoing month of April. Last year in July, its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra was launched. However, the device never made its way to the global scene. It was a shame considering the device would have been a great competitor to the S22 Ultras and 13 Pro Maxes of the world.
However, this will be changing with the launch of Xiaomi’s next behemoth, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch of the device in the coming months after the initial launch in China. The device will bring improvements over its predecessor and will be a prominent challenger in the flagship device market dominated by devices like the S23 Ultra, OnePlus 11, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra Specifications
The Chinese tech giants bring their A-game when it comes to their Ultra devices. These are one of the most stacked devices you can get in the whole world. Xiaomi has again teamed up with Leica to bring substantial improvements to its camera system. Moreover, the device will be powered by the latest and greatest from Snapdragon, the 8 Gen2 chipset. In addition, the display is expected to be a 6.74″ E6 AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution. It will also be equipped with a 120Hz variable refresh rate with LTPO 4.0 technology.
You will get faster speeds with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. Furthermore, the battery capacity will most probably be 4900 mAh which will support charging speeds of up to 90W wired and 50W wirelessly. The device will be stacked with WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and an X-axis linear motor for top-end haptic feedback. The 13 Ultra will also be water and dust resistance with an official IP68 rating.
Moving on to the camera system, the device will have a quadruple setup at the rear. Interestingly, all sensors are said to be 50 megapixels. The first one will be a 50MP IMX989 sensor with optical image stabilization. The other three sensors will all be 50MP IMX858 sensors. In addition, the front camera will be a 32MP shooter.
