Redmi Note 12 in Pakistan is arriving soon. The launch of the Redmi Note 12 series in Pakistan has been anticipated for a long time now. Redmi Note 11 launched in Pakistan in the Q1 of 2022. However, while the world is experiencing a six-month upgrade cycle with the Redmi Note series, this is not the case with Pakistan. This is a great thing in my opinion. People with the Redmi Note 11 enjoyed their phone as the latest one in the series for a year. Moreover, the resale of the device was also stable throughout. Now, this is the right time for an upgrade. Xiaomi has teased the launch on its social media.
Redmi Note 12
The base variant of the series is the Redmi Note 12 5G. For the weight and dimensions, it weighs 188g and is 7.98mm thin. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen1. Moreover, the device features a 6.67″ OLED display. It has an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Note 12 also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Adding on, the device has a 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. Note 12 has a basic dual-camera setup. It comprises a 48MP main sensor with a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor.
Redmi Note 12 Pro & Pro+
The Pro version features a 10-Bit 120Hz 6.67″ OLED panel. Moreover, it is powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 1080. It weighs 187g and measures 7.9mm thick. For the battery, it has a 5000 mAh cell and 67W fast charging support. Surprisingly, the Pro version also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. For the camera system, the Note 12 Pro has three rear cameras. There is a 50MP main IMX766 camera with OIS. Furthermore, it is accompanied by an 8MP and 2MP sensor. The selfie shooter is a 16MP sensor.
Then comes the upgraded version of the Note 12 Pro, the Pro+. It has the same display and the same chipset. However, there are major changes in the camera and battery department. The main camera is swapped for a massive 200MP sensor. Moreover, the charging speed is bumped up to 120W. The other difference is the weight and thickness. The Pro+ weighs 208g and measures 8.98mm thick.
Which of these will be launched in Pakistan?
The standard Redmi Note 12 will be launching for sure. However, there will be at least one more device in Pakistan. Xiaomi used the hashtag in their post which stated ‘Redmi Note 12 Series’. This indicates that either the Pro or Pro+ will surely be making its way to Pakistan.
