Vivo X Flip images in the flesh have been leaked. The design from the back has been leaked in its entirety. This will be the brand’s first flip-folding phone. Moreover, it will be the first flip folding phone from any Chinese brand after OPPO. OPPO’s Find N2 Flip has received heaps of praise. It will be interesting to see how Vivo will compete with the N2 Flip.
Vivo X Flip Design
The design reveals a circular camera module with ZEISS optics branding. Moreover, the cover screen is also very adequate in terms of size. The back of the device also seems textured in a diamond-cut pattern. Furthermore, the frame is a metal chassis and has a chrome finish. Overall, the design seems quite nice.
However, it remains to be seen what the front is like. Most probably, it will be the same as the other competitors. But, the main thing to be seen is the crease, and how well they manage that. That is the real question. Well, it will be answered soon.
Vivo X Flip Specifications (Expected)
Firstly, the device is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Moreover, the device will have a 6.8″ OLED panel. The display will have FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Furthermore, the device is going to have a 4400 mAh battery which will be charged at 44W.
The phone will come with Android 13 out of the box. For security, the X Flip will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moving on to the camera system, the device will have a 50MP main IMX766 sensor which will be accompanied by a 12MP IMX663 sensor with ultra-wide capabilities.
Vivo X Flip VS OPPO Find N2 Flip
Well, firstly, the Find N2 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. Another difference is the cover screen, Vivo seems to have implemented a better cover screen. Majorly, the specifications on paper are the same. Both are the first of both companies in terms of flip phones. Another difference is the use of sensors in the camera system. OPPO has used a 50MP IMX890. The other sensor is an 8MP IMX355 ultra-wide lens. Maybe the final decision can only be based on the real-life performance of both. The one with better durability and a more refined experience will be the winner.
