Developers and Students Get Ready!

Current Apple Developer Program members, Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni, prior Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Apple Developer Enterprise Program members can apply for a special event held at Apple Park. Moreover, selected people will get their emails on the 5th of April. Furthermore, they will be able to attend to keynote physically and attend the Apple design awards as well.

Online sessions will be provided to developers to allow them to learn about new features of the software iterations which will be announced at the event. Moreover, Swift Student Challenge will also be held at WWDC 2023 like in previous years. For that, Apple will be accepting applications through April 19.

Expected Hardware Announcements

There are not many hardware announcements at WWDC. The event is focused mainly on announcements on Apple’s latest iterations of their software. However, this year may include some important hardware announcements as well.

Reportedly, we could see a 15-inch MacBook Air and even a Mac Pro. Furthermore, the most anticipated hardware expected at the event is the AR/VR headset. It has been rumored for a long time that Apple is working on an AR/VR headset.

Expected Software Announcements

Apple is expected to announce iOS 17, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS 14. Moreover, some key details about the iOS 17 have been making rounds on the internet. Previously, it was expected to be a refinement update to the buggy and somewhat iOS 16. However, this seems to have changed now. iOS 17 is now expected to bring some of the most requested features to the iPhone.

That could mean so much. iOS 17 is named ‘Dawn’ internally. Maybe more customization features are in the works, who knows? What are the most wanted features that you want on your iPhone? Let us know in the comments section.
