We were surprised and excited when we heard that Lady Gaga was going to play Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel. We think she is a talented singer and actress, and we were curious to see how she would portray the iconic DC villainess. Well, yesterday we got a glimpse of her in character on the set of Joker: Folie à Deux in New York, and I have to say, she looks amazing!
She was wearing a black and red outfit with diamond patterns, just like Harley Quinn’s signature style. She also had eye makeup that makes her look like a crazy clown. She was surrounded by Gotham police officers and a crowd of people who seemed to be supporting the Joker. Some of them had Joker masks and face paint, and some of them had signs that said “Free Joker” or “Dent is the Clown”.
This means that the Joker is in prison after what he did on the TV show in the first movie and that Harvey Dent is trying to stop him. Harvey Dent is a lawyer who becomes Two-Face, another Batman villain. Maybe we will see him become Two-Face in this movie. That would be cool.
We don’t know much about the plot of Joker: Folie à Deux, but we heard that it will be a musical. That sounds interesting and different. We wonder what kind of songs they will sing. Maybe Lady Gaga will write some of them.
Is Lady Gaga a good choice for Harley Quinn?
No doubt, Lady Gaga is a good choice for Harley Quinn because she can sing, act, and be crazy. She has a lot of charisma and energy, and she can make us feel sorry for Harley Quinn even when she does bad things. She can also be funny and sexy at the same time. We can’t wait to see her on the big screen with Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker.
However, at the same time, we have to admit that no one can replace Margot Robbie. If Harley Quinn is made for a person, she is that person.
