Realme has announced the all-new GT Neo5 SE smartphone. Yet another phone in the GT series, but does it bring anything fresh? Well, it certainly does. But before we jump on to the details, let’s discuss the release date of the phone. Realme has officially revealed that GT Neo5 SE will be launched on April 3 at 2 PM in China.

Officially, only two things are confirmed: the design and processor details. The Realme GT Neo5 will bring a “Final Fantasy” color scheme. In the official picture, you can see the look of the device. It definitely looks bold with a huge camera housing on the rear. While the two strips on the left give it a gaming vibe. Moreover, the weight of 193.1 g makes it a light phone.

However, if you are not into this funky color, there is also a black color among other unannounced options. The black model of Realme GT Neo5 SE has been revealed. You can check it out, it looks quite elegant. I would have to say the phone totally changes just by a color shift.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 reaches the power of Dimensity 9000
Realme has officially confirmed that they will utilize the all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 on the GT Neo5 SE. This is the second generation of this chip and it is the best one in the Snapdragon 7 series.
The phone has a very high score on AnTuTu. The total score is 1,009,127 points. The CPU part, which is the brain of the phone, has 255,246 points. The GPU part, which is the eye of the phone, has 360,306 points. The MEM part, which is the memory of the phone, has 212,180 points. The UX part, which is the user experience of the phone, has 181,395 points.
When we compare these scores with other phones, we can see that the Realme GT Neo5 SE is very powerful. It has almost the same performance as the Dimensity 9000, which is another fast chip from MediaTek. To top it off, The phone will get up to 16GB and 1TB.
Display, Camera & Software
It is said that the screen is a 1.5K Tianma T7+ 144Hz flexible OLED. This means it has a high resolution, a high refresh rate, and a flexible material. The screen also has a small hole in the center for the selfie camera. The screen has a 2160Hz PWM dimming feature, which means it can adjust the brightness smoothly and save power.
The camera has three lenses and a flash. The primary sensor is a 64MP OV64M super-large matrix module. The main lens has an aperture of f/1.79 and a focal length of 25mm.
The battery is 5500mAh with a 100W fast charging solution. The phone runs on the Android 13 system, which is the latest version of the system.
