Redmi Note 12 Turbo is here as an all-around smartphone. It is yet another phone in the Redmi Note 12 series. Seems like Redmi wants to conclude the Note 12 series with a big hit. The GeekBench scores along with some other specifications of Note 12 Turbo Edition has surfaced online. Below you will need to find all the necessary details of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo including specifications, design, pros and cons.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo
The Note 12 Turbo is a mid-range smartphone on steroids. It is a performance-active smartphone with nice specifications but minus some bells and whistles.
Specifications
The phone gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. This is the world’s first smartphone to use the chipset as it was only launched last week. Other than that the device is said to get 12GB ram in the base variant.
The Geekbench score of the device surfaced with numbers of 1,213 single-core scores and 3,972 multi-core scores.
Display
The device will get a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120 Hz OLED display. LTPO or not this is yet to be confirmed. Nevertheless, the display is going to be smooth to enhance the overall feel of the device. The most important highlight is that the bezels on Redmi Note 12 Turbo are kept quite slim. In promotional material shared by Xiaomi, it is said that the Note 12 Turbo has slimmer bezels compared to iPhone 14.
Camera
There will be a triple camera setup on the device. The camera isn’t expected to be amazing so don’t get your hopes up. According to leaks and rumors, the setup will consist of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP UltraWide, and a 2MP macro shooter. So in short, this might not be a camera-centric phone.
Battery
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo has a 5000mAH battery with 67W fast wired charging.
Pros of Redmi Note 12 Turbo
- Performance: Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 ensures that there will be no compromise on the performance.
- Battery Life: With a huge 5000mAh battery, the phone ticks this box, and the 67W charging is just the cherry on top.
- Display: A huge OLED display with slim bezels is a huge plus for watching Netflix and other multimedia purposes.
Cons of Redmi Note 12 Turbo
- Camera: Without OIS, the Note 12 Turbo will not shine in the market. The camera setup looks quite average at least on paper.
- Design: Redmi Note 12 Turbo shamelessly copies the iconic iPhone design. It does not bring the unique design that was once offered by the Redmi Note series.
We know that the device is going to be very performance orientated. Nice chipset, a nice battery and fast charging as well. The only downside which I feel is that the camera isn’t going to be as good. Also, the look and feel of the device might feel cheap depending on the materials being used.
The device will soon be launched on 28th March. Then after knowing the complete details it will be easier to decide on the device. What do you guys think of the device? Let us know in the comments below.
