OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will be launching officially on the 4th of April. It will be the direct sequel to the Nord CE 2 Lite. Everything about the phone has been leaked in its entirety. Box images, specifications, and official renders have been leaked. OnePlus has confirmed the launch date itself.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite Design
The device will have flat sides and a similar design to previous OnePlus midrange phones. There will be three cameras at the back and a centered selfie shooter in the front. OnePlus will be debuting a brand new colorway with the Nord CE 3 Lite, Pastel Lime. Bezels also seem minimal all the way around.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite Specifications
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. Moreover, the device will sport a 6.72″ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s a shame that we still get to see an LCD panel instead of an OLED panel in 2023. Furthermore, the device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. For security purposes, the device will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the device will have Android 13 out of the box and will support 2 years of OS and 3 years of security upgrades.
In addition, the device will have LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. It will also have Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and WiFi 5. Nord CE 3 Lite will be 8.3mm thick and will weigh 195g. Moving on, the triple cameras at the back will be headed by a 108MP main sensor. It will be accompanied by two 2MP lenses. OnePlus would rather give one good sensor rather than these useless 2MP sensors. Lastly, the front camera will be a 16MP sensor.
Thoughts on Nord CE 3 Lite
Apart from the new Lime color, nothing is exciting about this midrange phone from OnePlus. This is one of the devices that are aimed at the offline market. In the offline market, looks matter. Hence the useless 2MP sensors make the design more compelling. Moreover, this new lime color will make it even more attractive to offline buyers. This is the only reason why this phone would have been made. Because, apart from this target market, it doesn’t make any sense.
