Google Bard has been made accessible to try out. You can try out the brand’s new AI chatbot by joining the waitlist. It is a direct competitor to ChatGPT and is still in the experimental phase. Google has made it clear that the responses may not be accurate and even offensive at some times. However, you can point it out and Google will take your feedback into account. Google Bard implements natural language processing and machine learning to generate responses simultaneously. Here’s how you can use it.

Joining The Waitlist for Google Bard

Firstly, Bard is only available in the UK and US for now. You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist. Moreover, you would also need to be on a supported browser (Chrome, Chromium-based Edge, Firefox, Opera, or Safari). Lastly, you need a personal Google account to sign up for using the Bard AI Chatbot.

To sign up for Google’s ChatGPT rival, you need to be signed in to your Google account and go to bard.google.com. Then, all you need to do is press the Join Waitlist button and click the ‘I’m in’ icon. There you go, you will now receive an email when you will be granted access to Bard by Google.

Google Bard Features

After you have been granted access by Google, you are free to dive in by going to bard.google.com. You will be prompted to agree to the terms and conditions. Afterward, there will be a set of questions as an example of what you can ask the AI Chatbot. You will get three different answer drafts. All three will be alternative answers to your questions.

As made clear by Google itself, the answers may not be accurate and there may be some discrepancies. You can report them to Google by either tapping on the thumbs-up icon or the thumbs-down icon. Furthermore, you can go to the ‘Help and Support’ section to report any issues or offensive responses you may encounter.

In addition, there is also a FAQ section where you will be able to find information about the collection of data, advertising, and more. There is a ‘Bard Activity’ section where you will find every question you have ever asked. You can also reset the chat through the ‘Reset Chat’ function. So, what are you waiting for? If you live in the US or the UK, try out this new AI Chatbot by Google.
