Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S23 series in February. However, before the flagship series are announced; the company will release the refreshed A-series phones in different parts of the world this month. We are expecting to see Galaxy A54, A34, A24, and A14. Before the 2023 A-series goes live, there are leaked renders of the Galaxy A54 revealing the new design language. To our surprise, the Galaxy A54 looks just like the flagship Galaxy S23 leaked design.

We have already received countless leaks of the Galaxy S23 series; we are pretty sure the phone will resemble the last year’s model. Now, with the leaked design of the A54, it seems like Samsung will be bringing the flagship design to all their phones.

The design of the Galaxy A54 is similar to the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+, with separate camera rings for all rear cameras and a flat display with curved corners. The Galaxy A54 will have three rear cameras, as Samsung is removing depth cameras from its smartphones in 2023. The selfie camera is located in a punch-hole-shaped cutout in the display. It is expected that the Galaxy A54 will have an in-display fingerprint reader, as there is no side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Overall, the design looks pretty simple and straightforward. There is nothing noisy on the rear, Samsung is keeping it clean. But the question that arises is; what would be the differentiating factor between Galaxy S23 and Galaxy A54 if they both have similar designs? One cannot even say the build quality; as both will feature a glasstic back.
Apart from a minor camera sensor difference, there will be color differences among the phones. We have already seen the leaked color options for the Galaxy S23; Black, Green, Pink, and Cream. While the Galaxy A54 is expected to feature Black, Lime, Purple, and White.
Previous reports suggest that the Galaxy A54 will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and stereo speakers. It will be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, which includes four high-performance cores and the Mali-G68 GPU.
The phone will be powered by a 5,100mAh battery and is expected to come with Android 13 installed, with four major Android OS updates. The Galaxy A54 is expected to have a 32MP selfie camera on the front and a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera on the rear. It is also expected to have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

Just recently, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A14 5G device. We even joked about the device design as it gets a similar design language to the flagship S-series design. Especially, have a look at the rear design in white color.
A14 5G comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The rest of the spec sheet is carried over from its predecessor with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The phone features a 50MP main camera on the back alongside a 2MP macro cam and a depth sensor. There’s a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging support.
The A14 5G boots Android 13 with One UI 5 and comes in Black, Light Green, Dark Red, and Silver colors. Pricing in the US is set at $200 with open sales starting on January 12.
