Vivo X90 Series Global Launch Date Exposed

The Vivo X90 Series is yet to launch in the global markets. Well, looks like you will have to wait a bit more. The launch event is said to take place on the 31st of January. There will be three devices launching in the global market. Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ will be the three devices.

Firstly, let’s talk about the base model of the X90 series. The Vivo X90 features a 6.78″ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it has a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The resolution of the panel is 2800×1260. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. It is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device weighs 192 grams and is roughly 8.8 mm thick. In addition, the battery is a 4810 mAh cell with 120W fast charging support.

Furthermore, the X90 will be running the Origin OS 3 based on Android 13. X90 has a triple rear camera setup. It is spear-headed by a 50MP IMX866 sensor accompanied by a 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Adding on, the front selfie shooter is a 32MP sensor.

The Pro variant is the middle-child of the series. It is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. Moreover, it also has the same display specifications. X90 Pro weighs 215 grams and is 9.3 mm thick. Furthermore, the other difference between the Pro and the base model is the portrait lens. The Pro model has a 50MP portrait lens with 2x zoom instead of the 12MP lens on the standard X90. Other camera specifications are the same.

Adding on, the second difference is the battery capacity and wireless charging. X90 Pro has a 4870 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging as well. Other than these two differences, the standard X90 and the X90 Pro are almost the same.

Last but not the least, the flagship model is the X90 Pro+. It is powered by the latest from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 8 Gen2. Moreover, the X90 Pro+ has a 6.78″ E6 AMOLED LTPO 120Hz display with a 2K resolution. It packs a 4800 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Moreover, it has a quad-camera setup at the rear. The main sensor is a 50MP sensor accompanied by a 48MP ultra-wide, 50MP telephoto and a 64MP periscope lens. The selfie shooter is the same 32MP lens. Lastly, all three devices have the Vivo V2 chip and Zeiss optics integration.
