OnePlus 11 Global Launch Date Confirmed

What To Expect

OnePlus has announced that the upcoming devices will have 4 major Android upgrades. This is pleasant news that ensures the longevity of upcoming OnePlus devices. The OnePlus 11 will be the first to come with 4 years of major Android OS upgrades. Further details about the device have been leaked earlier.

Design

OnePlus 11 Pro

The design will be quite polarizing like last year. OnePlus adopted a new design philosophy last year. This year, they build on that design language. OnePlus 10 Pro’s design looked hideous at the start. However, it felt better as we saw it more and more. However, I hoped that OnePlus didn’t continue with this same design language.

It doesn’t feel original at all. Let’s see if it grows on me as I see it more and more. The camera module curves into the frame the same as in the last iteration. However, the shape of the camera module is changed. It is now circular and will retain the Hasselblad branding. Moreover, the alert slider is also present which makes a comeback after being ditched in the OnePlus 10T.

Leaked Specifications

OnePlus 11 will feature a 120Hz OLED Curved display. Moreover, it will have a baked-in fingerprint sensor. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. In addition, the device will offer up to 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. However, the base variant will still have an 8GB+128GB configuration. The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with a whopping 100W fast charging support.

The OnePlus flagship will share the same camera configuration as the OPPO Find N. Both devices will have the Hasselblad camera tuning. Both devices will have a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48MP IMX581 ultrawide, and a 32MP IMX709 2x zoom camera. Lastly, the device is expected to run Android 13 out of the box.
