Redmi Note 12 Pro+ global launch has been officially teased. The Note 12 Series was launched earlier for the Chinese market. Four devices had been launched in the Note 12 lineup. Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition are the devices launched. There is something for everyone in this Note 12 lineup. Only the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has been teased for global launch for now. However, other devices may also arrive on the same date. The launch is set to take place on the 5th of January.
Other devices may also launch on the same date. Teasing has only started, therefore, the other models may be teased afterward. Let us take a look at the specs of the devices launched earlier in China.
Redmi Note 12
The base variant of the series is the Redmi Note 12 5G. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen1. Moreover, the device features a 6.67″ OLED display. It has an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Note 12 also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Adding on, the device has a 5000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. Note 12 has a basic dual-camera setup. It comprises a 48MP main sensor with a 2MP sensor. The selfie camera is an 8MP sensor. Lastly, it is priced at CNY 1199.
Redmi Note 12 Pro & Pro+
The Pro version features a 10-Bit 120Hz 6.67″ OLED panel. Moreover, it is powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 1080. For the battery, it has a 5000 mAh cell and 67W fast charging support. Surprisingly, the Pro version also has a 3.5mm headphone jack. For the camera system, the Note 12 Pro has three rear cameras. There is a 50MP main IMX766 camera with OIS. Furthermore, it is accompanied by an 8MP and 2MP sensor. The selfie shooter is a 16MP sensor. Lastly, it is priced at CNY 1699.
Then comes the upgraded version of the Note 12 Pro, the Pro+. It has the same display and the same chipset. However, there are major changes in the camera and battery department. The main camera is swapped for a massive 200MP sensor. Moreover, the charging speed is bumped up to 120W. The other difference is the weight and thickness. The Pro+ weighs 208g and measures 8.98mm thick. Lastly, the pricing is set at CNY 2099.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition
Lastly, the most expensive of the lot is the discovery edition. It has more or less the same specs as the Pro+. The display, camera system, and chipset are the same. However, the battery capacity is lessened to 4300 mAh and the charging speed is bumped up to a whopping 210W. This is also the first time 210W charging is implemented on a mainstream device. The Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition will cost you CNY 2399.
