POCO X5 5G To Be Powered By The Snapdragon 4 Gen1


POCO X5 5G will be launching soon in the global market. It will be a budget offering from the Chinese brand. The POCO X4 Pro and X4 GT came with premium builds and decent specs on paper. Now, the expected specifications of the POCO X5 5G have been leaked by a reliable tipster, Yogesh Brar.

Expected Specifications

The device will allegedly come with a 6.67″ FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen1. The device will have different configurations with either 4, 6, or 8 gigabytes of RAM. It will be coupled with 64 or 128 gigs of internal storage. Furthermore, the device will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Adding on, the device will be running the MIUI 13 skin based on Android 12. For security, the device will have a fingerprint scanner baked into the power button. The device will be having a set of stereo speakers and an IP53 splash-proof rating. Moreover, the device will have a dual-rear camera setup. The main sensor will be a 48MP sensor accompanied by a 2MP lens. The front selfie shooter will be an 8MP sensor. For comparison, the X4 GT and X4 Pro had the following specs.


The device had a 120Hz AMOLED 6.67″ panel. It also had a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. In addition, the display had a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Moreover, the device was powered by Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The chipset was based on 6nm architecture. It was paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. POCO X4 Pro featured stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and NFC enabled. Furthermore, the device had a 5000 mAh cell. It came with 67W turbocharging support.

For the camera system, the X4 PRO had a 108MP main sensor. It was accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 118-degree field of view. Lastly, it also featured a 2MP macro sensor.


The device had a 6.6″ FHD+ 144Hz LCD panel. Furthermore, the X4 GT was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. Moreover, the device had a 5080 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. In addition to the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it also had dual stereo speakers and an IP53 rating as well. The rear camera system had a 64MP main sensor. It was accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro. The front-facing camera was a 20MP lens.
