iQOO 11 will be the latest flagship from the Vivo sub-brand. It will be launching next month. However, the Indian launch will be in January. The iQOO 11 will not be a mid-tier device or a gaming-centric device. Rather it will be a full-blown flagship device. The expected specifications give us an idea that the iQOO 11 will be one of the most enticing flagships of the year. It will also be one of the very first to use the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen2 by Qualcomm.
Expected Specifications
The iQOO flagship will feature a 6.67″ E6 AMOLED panel. In addition, it will be a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The resolution of the panel is said to be QHD+. The device will be running Origin OS 3 based on the latest Android 13. iQOO will be looking to smash it in the battery department as well. Reportedly, the device will be packing a 4700 mAh battery with a whopping 200W fast charging support.
Furthermore, the device will also feature Vivo’s V2 chip. In addition to the dedicated V2 chip, it will also have 1440 Hz PWM dimming. The camera system may be similar to the Vivo X Fold+. For reference, the Vivo X Fold+ is featuring a Zeiss-branded camera system. The device has a 50MP GN5 main sensor which is also optically stabilized. In addition, there is a 48MP ultra-wide sensor as well with a 12MP portrait camera with double optical zoom and an 8MP super-telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Moreover, there is a 16MP selfie shooter at the front as well.
Thoughts
The upcoming iQOO flagship device looks like a decent device and will offer a good choice for someone looking for a beastly device. Performance-wise, nothing can be said just yet. Obviously, it will be more than enough. However, at this tier, we are often nitpicking as we should after paying a hefty price tag for such devices. I hope Snapdragon 8 Gen2 improves on the issues that the 8 Gen1 had. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
