Realme 10 5G has been announced after the launch of the 4G variant. Moreover, this 5G model is launched only in the Chinese market. Whereas, the 4G model was launched globally. Furthermore, there are some key differences between the devices.

The Realme 10 5G has a 90Hz IPS LCD 6.6″ panel. Moreover, it comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. The design is more or less similar to the 4G variant with the flat frame and camera modules without a singular bump. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Adding on, the device comes in different configurations of 8GB RAM coupled with 128 or 256 gigs of internal storage.
The triple rear camera setup has a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP sensor and a depth sensor. In addition, the front camera is an 8MP shooter. Lastly, the device starts at 1299 CNY. For comparison, here are the 4G model specs.

For the cameras, it has a dual camera setup. It comprises a 50MP sensor accompanied by a 2MP lens. Furthermore, the front selfie shooter is a 16MP shooter housed inside a punch-hole towards the top-left of the device’s display. Lastly, the device is priced at a starting price of $299.
Thoughts
Realme has chosen a strange path for the launch of these devices. The 4G model has a better set of specifications. In addition, the design is also similar. The decision of swapping the OLED display for the 5G connectivity doesn’t make sense. I would take the OLED screen over the 5G connectivity every day of the week. Would you do the same?
