Huawei Nova 10 SE is the latest entrant in the Nova 10 Series. Previously, Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro got launched in China on the 4th of July. The design is similar to the SE model. Moreover, the Nova 10 SE is an upgrade in terms of cameras. However, it is also a downgrade in some areas such as the display.
Specifications
The device has a matte backplate and the signature camera module design. At the front, there is a 6.67″ 90Hz OLED display. The refresh rate was 120Hz on the previously launched Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro. The device weighs 184g and measures only 7.39mm thick. Furthermore, the device packs a 4500 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The Nova 10 had 66W fast charging support while the Pro had support for a whopping 100W fast charging speeds.
In addition, the device comes in only one configuration, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Huawei has not revealed the processor used in the device. Previously, Snapdragon 778G was used in the other models of this series. The device runs on Magic UI based on Android 12. In addition, there is no support for Google apps on this device.
Nova 10 SE has a 108MP main camera. Previous models had a 50MP main camera. Furthermore, there is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP selfie shooter housed in a centered punch-hole in the display.
The pricing of the device has not been announced yet. It will be announced on a further date. For reference, the Huawei Nova 10 pricing started at CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 31,800) for the 128GB model and CNY 2,999 for the 256GB model. (roughly Rs. 35,350). The 10 Pro version started at CNY 3,699 (about Rs. 43,600) for the 128GB model and CNY 3,999 for the 256GB model (roughly Rs. 47,100). Most probably, the Huawei Nova 10 SE will be priced lower than both of these considering the specifications.
