Vivo Flaunts The X Fold+ In Red Ahead Of September 26 Launch

Vivo X Fold+ is slated to launch on the 26th of September. Previously, the device’s renders had been revealed via TENAA. Earlier this year, the Vivo X Fold was launched. However, the launch was limited to China. I hope this upcoming device launches globally. Only then it will be able to compete with the competition.

Recently, a lot of foldable phones have been released. Xiaomi Mix Fold 2Moto Razr 2022, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Z Fold 4 have been launched recently. Official renders of Vivo’s latest foldable have been revealed including a new Red color.

Vivo X Fold+ – Everything To Know

Vivo X Fold+The back design has a similar look to the Vivo X Fold and X80 series. It has that signature camera module. Moreover, the other aspects of the design are also similar to the Vivo X Fold. The Vivo X Fold+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. The device will have 120Hz main and cover displays. The main screen will have a 2k resolution according to recent leaks. Furthermore, both displays will be equipped with LTPO technology. Fingerprint scanners will be baked into both of the displays. Vivo is the only brand implementing in-display fingerprint scanners on the main as well as on the cover display.

Vivo claims to have strengthened the hinge massively. In addition, the device will feature 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Lastly, there will be a 4730 mAh dual-cell battery which is larger than the previous iteration. The X Fold+ will be featuring a Zeiss-branded camera system. The device will have a 50MP main sensor. In addition, there will be a 48MP ultra-wide sensor as well with a 12MP portrait camera with double optical zoom, and an 8MP super-telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Moreover, there will be a 16MP selfie shooter at the front as well.

Vivo X Fold+

The X Fold+ seems to be a great device on paper. However, it will only make sense if it launches globally. If it is only launched in China, then it’s nothing more than an experiment. I hope Vivo launches this one globally and gives people an option to choose from. Otherwise, global users only have one option which is the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 4.
