Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 14 series. With the last series, we have seen the camera module on the Pro model getting bigger. Leading us to the question, ‘Will Apple iPhone 14 Pro fit in iPhone 13 Pro protective case?’
For those wondering if they can save some bucks on a protective case for their new phone will be disappointed. The protective case of the iPhone 14 Pro has been leaked, and shared by IceUniverse. The case was put on iPhone 13 Pro, and unsurprisingly, it did not fit. The latest iPhone has prominent changes in the size of the camera lens, flash, and lidar scanner. Even the position of volume rockers a bit changed.
The most interesting thing to notice here is the size of the new iPhone 14 Pro camera module. Apparently, it is bigger than that of the iPhone 13 Pro which was already a big jump from the 12 Pro. Each camera lens including wide-angle, ultra-wide angle, and telephoto are larger. While, flash light and lidar sensor also change their positions.
iPhone 14 Pro series is getting bolder, highlighting the new camera tech
Apple is making the camera module even bolder. We are expecting the debut of 48MP sensor on the new series, low-light photography improvements, 8K video recording and new ultra-wide sensor. Hence, this might be the reason Apple wants to highlight the camera.
Apart from the module, there are a few changes on the button side as-well. The iPhone 14 Pro have slightly raised volume buttons and volume mute buttons.
Will the standard iPhone 14 fit the iPhone 13 protective case?
Case manufacturers have said that the iPhone 14 will not fit the iPhone 13 protective case. The camera unit size is increased with the new series on the standard phone as well. Although, the Phone 14 Plus might be applicable with the iPhone 13 Pro Max case but the difference lies with the camera module.
That being said, Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, the faster Apple Watch SE 2, and the Apple Watch Pro on September 8. For the fastest updates, make sure to follow us on our Twitter account.
