Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 has been released officially for Android and iOS. The creepy survival game was one of the most awaited releases. Since its first chapter was released in 2021, it has grabbed a great deal of attention. Chapter 1 was also released for mobile at the same time last year. Moreover, the latest reports confirm that Chapter 3 is also in development for PC and later on it will launch for mobile.
Background & Plot
Poppy Playtime is a game by MOB studios whose origin is in the United States. The player is an old employee of an abandoned toy factory. He then visits the factory after some time after the staff vanishes. Then one has to solve puzzles and try to survive the haunting toys that keep hunting for you. Various VHS tapes can be found throughout the factory. These provide the player with a more in-depth explanation of the story.
Furthermore, another important part of the game is a gadget named GrabPack. This is used to pull and reach objects from a far distance, conduct electricity, and access certain doors. Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 was released on PC in October 2021. Later on, they launched a mobile version as well. Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 was released in May for PC. It received a great response.
What’s New
Chapter 1 was titled ‘A Tight Squeeze.’ It revolves around freeing Poppy from Huggy Wuggy, the main villain. Moreover, the 2nd Chapter is now titled ‘Fly In A Web’. This time the plot doesn’t have an end. Instead, the end sets up nicely for Chapter 3. Poppy is now captured by the new villain whose name is Mommy Long Legs.
At the end of Chapter 2, Poppy is freed. After freeing her, the player boards a train to escape. However, Poppy diverts the train. She says that she could not let the player leave yet due to the events that had occurred inside the factory. Furthermore, Poppy claims that the player can handle whatever comes next. Hence, the train runs out of control and derails near a sign pointing to “Playcare”.

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 is priced at $5.99 for iOS and $4.99 for Android. Nothing’s for free these days. Especially if you want some quality entertainment.
