Samsung Galaxy A Series Prices Increased!

Samsung Galaxy A Series has been the most popular in Pakistan for years. Moreover, most of Samsung’s sales are made of their A series sales. However, now the A series has also become unaffordable for Pakistani consumers. All devices have seen a major increase in prices. The reasons are not unknown. Inflation, dollar rates, and a ban on imports are the major causes.

New Prices

The Galaxy A13 is now available for PKR 39,500 on Samsung’s website. Galaxy A23 is now priced at PKR 51,999. Moreover, the Galaxy A33’s new price is PKR 79,500. The most popular Galaxy A53 has now gone above PKR 90K. Lastly, the top-end Galaxy A73 has an updated price of PKR 122,999.

Specifications

Samsung Galaxy A23

The Galaxy A23 is almost identical to the A13. The processor used in the A23 is different than the one powering the A13. Snapdragon 680 is powering the Galaxy A23. Furthermore, it has a 6.6″ TFT display. Moreover, it packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports the same 25W charging speed. The dimensions of the device measure 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm and it weighs 195g. A23 also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with Knox security built-in as well.

For the cameras, it has the same quad-camera setup at the rear. A 50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP sensor housed inside a waterdrop notch. Lastly, the color options of the device are Black, White, Blue, and Peach.

Galaxy A33

Exynos 1280 is powering the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. Furthermore, the display is a 6.4″ 90Hz refresh rate panel on the A33. The Galaxy A33 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, you will not get a power brick in the box. The phone will run on One UI 4 based on Android 12. Galaxy A33 5G is also IP67 certified.

Moreover, the quad-camera array at the back of the A33 has a 48MP main sensor. In addition to the main sensor, the phone also has an ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensor. The frame is still made of plastic same as last year’s model. The volume rockers and the power button will be on the left side. While the USB-C port and speakers are at the bottom. Moreover, there is no headphone jack. The Galaxy A73 is a little slimmer than A53, measuring just under 8mm.
