Starting with the new Redmi K50i, Redmi is reintroducing the popular K-series phones to India. The Redmi K50i 5G was released today (July 20) in India. According to a tip, Amazon’s Redmi K50i 5G advertisement with price details surfaced on Instagram just hours before its official debut. The device is expected to be available on Amazon during the Amazon Prime Day 2022 sale, which begins on July 23 at Midnight. It will also be available in two Variants: 6GB+128GB and 8GB+512GB.
The Redmi K50 series, which replaces the popular K20 series, is expected to be well received by customers. The Redmi K50i is comparable to the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro, which were released in China in May. Although the batteries and charging rates differ, the phones are essentially the same. The Note 11T Pro has a 4,400mAh battery and requires 120W of power to charge, whereas the Redmi K50I has a 5,080mAh battery and requires 67W of power to charge.
The Redmi K50i Specs
Xiaomi’s latest 5G smartphone features a 6.6-inch screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080×2460. It includes a pixel density of 407 PPI. On the back, the smartphone has a triple-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens with an LED flashlight. On the screen is a 16MP camera module for selfies and video calls. The Redmi K50i is powered by a 5nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. It supports 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone runs the MIUI operating system, which is based on Android 12. The Redmi K50i is powered by a 4400mAh battery, which supports fast charging via a USB Type-C charging port. The smartphone has a dual-SIM slot, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Mobile Hotspot, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity.
Price and Offers
The K50I will go on sale at a price of Rs25,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. While the 8GB+128GB would be priced at RS 28,999.
The ICIC Bank early bird online offer includes either an Rs3000 discount or a free Xiaomi smart speaker worth Rs4,999. Furthermore, an EMI exchange bonus of Rs2500+ is included. This means that the 6GB variant can be had for as little as Rs20,999, and the 8GB variant can be had for as little as Rs23,999.
