The ROG Phone 6 series consists of two new devices in Asus’ gaming-focused Republic of Gamers phone lineup. They’re gamer phones for people who like to game, and the upgraded displays look pretty good. The ROG Phone series is aimed at mobile gamers and features high-end hardware and custom software.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 series improves on its predecessor in several ways, including a new processor, a revamped design, and a slew of new technologies to give mobile gamers an advantage.
ROG Phone 6 Specification
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with an Adreno 730 GPU. The former includes up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the latter includes up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In both smartphones, Asus has included the GameCool 6 cooling system. According to the company, this is the most significant update to the cooling system ever since the emergence of the ROG Mobile series. It includes a revamped, 360-degree CPU cooling system that is more efficient at dissipating heat. According to Asus, performance is improved by up to 10 degrees Celsius.
They both have the same 6.78-inch OLED screens as the previous ROG Phone 5S, but their 165Hz refresh rates and 720Hz touch-sampling rates are both significant improvements over the previous model. They have the same 6,000mAh batteries as previous models, as well as an upgraded three-camera setup. It supports 65W fast charging. In India, however, Asus includes a 30-watt adapter in the retail packaging.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro have triple rear cameras for photography. They have 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensors, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle cameras with a field of view of 125 degrees, and 5-megapixel macro cameras. The smartphones have 12-megapixel cameras for selfies and video calls.
Asus’ new ROG Phone 6 series runs Android 12 with the option of ROG UI or ZEN UI. The company promises two Android updates with at least two years of security updates.
The ROG phone 6 series includes programmable Air trigger ultrasonic buttons on the right end of the chassis and on the phone’s back. In games, you can use these buttons as a controller.
Asus Phone 6 Launched in India
For this mobile series, Asus has also released a newer version of the AeroActive cooler and the ROG kunai gamepad.
The ROG Cetra True Wireless and Cetra True Wireless Pro earbuds have also been unveiled, but they will not be available in India.

The Phone 6 will start at €999, and the Phone 6 Pro will start at €1,299. They’ll be available first in the UK and Europe, and Asus says they’ll be available in the US and India.
Luckily, The phone launched on Tuesday, July 5th in India. The Asus ROG Phone 6 is available in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant for Rs 71,999. The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro is also available in a single 18GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration for Rs 89,999.
