Samsung Galaxy A73 has been launched in Pakistan. The price of the device is PKR 116K in the Pakistani market. Moreover, only the 256GB variant has been made official in Pakistan. At this price, it suffers defeat from Samsung’s own S21 FE. More on that later. Firstly, let’s take a recap of what both the devices offer.
Samsung Galaxy A73
The design is similar to the A53. The camera bump extends from the backplate itself which is made of plastic. Furthermore, the display is a 6.7″ flat OLED panel with rounded corners. The frame is still made of plastic same as last year’s model. The volume rockers and the power button will be on the left side. While the USB-C port and speakers are at the bottom. Moreover, there is no headphone jack. The Galaxy A73 is a little slimmer than A53, measuring just under 8mm.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 778G. This is the same chipset found in the A52S. The Galaxy A73 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, you will not get a power brick in the box. The phone will run on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. A53 5G is also IP67 certified.
Moreover, the quad-camera array at the back of the A73 has a 108MP main sensor. It is OIS enabled. In addition to the main sensor, the phone also has an ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensor. The ultra-wide is a 12MP lens and the macro and depth sensors are both 5MP. Furthermore, the front camera is a 32MP shooter for selfies.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been available in the market at around 115K with discounts. The device comes with a 120Hz 6.4″ Dynamic AMOLED panel. The device is powered by the Exynos 2100. You get a flagship-grade camera setup with a 12MP main with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP telephoto. Moreover, the 4500 mAh battery charges at a maximum speed of 45W. However, it doesn’t come with a charger as well. Overall, it offers all the flagship features like great cameras, display, software, and IP68 rating. Moreover, the build is also better as the frame is made out of aluminum. 
Final Thoughts
Until the Galaxy A73 gets a price cut or a heavy discount in the offline market, it doesn’t make any sense to buy it. You will get a better deal out of the Galaxy S21 FE at essentially the same price. S21 FE has a better processor, better build, better dynamic AMOLED display and a telephoto lens as well.
