Samsung earlier launched the newer A series consisting of the A23, A53, & A73. While the A23 launched earlier was a 4G model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. Now, it surfaces on Geekbench as another A23 5G. Here is everything about it.
Samsung A23 5G
Judging by the model number, “SM-A236U” the phone appears to be a Samsung A23 but this time with 5G and a better processor. For now, there is news that this is a US-only version but sources have insides that it will be international. Here are the changed specs and features.
Specifications
The Samsung A23 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, rather than the Snapdragon 680 on the 4G variant. The 695 supports the millimetre wave 5G. The performance of this chipset in comparison to its younger brother the Snapdragon 690, it has a 15% faster CPU, and a 30% faster GPU.
Other than that, the phone is running an updated version of Android 12, has 4GB of RAM, and scores 674 for single-core, and 2019 for multi-core performance.
Going towards the camera of the smartphone, it will be equipped with a 50MP main camera while 2 more unknown lenses are expected. Most likely ultra-wide and depth sensors.
The battery of the device will be a typical 5000mAh cell with 25w fast charging. Finally, there is noted to be a 6.55″ display with an FHD+ 90Hz LCD panel.
The “New” A Series
This new Samsung A series containing the 23, 53, and 73, in our opinion, is not a hit. The A-series has lost its touch of being the affordable midrange with good performance. The devices peaked after the A52. Now it appears as if they are repetitive with a new price tag. If you have the previous generation from A22, A32, or the A52 etc, I don’t think that anyone should bother to upgrade to the newer ones.
