Samsung Galaxy A53 was launched in Pakistan recently. The device has launched at a price tag of PKR 86K. You can also get the device with a discount of PKR 5K on Samsung’s website. Moreover, the offline market is also offering discounts up to PKR 5-6K. Firstly, let’s recap what Samsung is offering for this price.

Design

Galaxy A53 almost has the same design as the A52. The thickness of the device is 8.1mm and it weighs 189g. This is a bit slimmer than the A52’s thickness. The camera bump extends from the backplate itself which is made of plastic. Furthermore, the display is a 6.5″ flat OLED panel with rounded corners. The frame is still made of plastic same as last year’s model. The volume rockers and the power button will be on the left side. While the USB-C port and speakers are at the bottom. Moreover, there is no headphone jack.

Specifications

Exynos 1280 is debuting with the A53 5G. Furthermore, the display is a 120Hz refresh rate panel on the A53. The Galaxy A53 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, you will not get a power brick in the box. The phone will run on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12. A53 5G is also IP67 certified.

Moreover, the quad-camera array at the back of the A53 has a 64MP main sensor. It is OIS enabled. In addition to the main sensor, the phone also has an ultra-wide, macro, and depth sensor. The device also comes with IP67 certification. Furthermore, the rear camera setup headed by a 64MP OIS-enabled sensor gives you a great camera experience. Lastly, you get a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. You can get a slightly used device or a 256GB storage variant with all accessories for cheaper than A53. Apart from cameras, this is the better deal over A53.

Xiaomi 11T

The Xiaomi 11T also offers a more compelling package than the A53. It offers a more powerful Dimensity 1200 chipset. Moreover, you get 67W charging support for the 5000 mAh battery. The camera system has a 108MP main lens which offers decent results. The 11T will also cost you less money than the A53.

POCO F3

The device that rocked the market last year is still selling well in Pakistan. The Snapdragon 870-powered device is still on the shelves. You will get 33W charging, a better build, and average cameras. It is still one of the best devices in the Pakistani market. It is also available in the offline market at around PKR 75K.
