OnePlus alert slider will be only on Pro and flagship models, as rumours with the upcoming OnePlus 10T leaks. The enthusiastic among you may have noticed that something is missing: the OnePlus alert slider, a feature that the firm first introduced to the Android market and then adopted as standard. Apple had a similar slider before OnePlus.
In any case, the ready slider has been a staple of OnePlus smartphones, and it was profoundly missed by some when the company extended to incorporate entry-level smartphones which were only rebranded as Oppos. The absence of the ready slider in the Nord N models was justifiable, thusly, as they were at first planned as Oppos.
Yet, shouldn’t something stay said about the OnePlus 10T? According to prominent informant Yogesh Brar on Twitter, it will start a new trend. Only the OnePlus Pro flagships will feature an alert slider from now on. Moreover, it will no longer be available on non-Pro OnePlus high-end phones, and to any forthcoming Nords.
To compound an already painful situation as it were. It seems to be some future Oppo flagships that will accompany an alert slider, “getting” the element from the sister brand. We’re considering how well fanatic OnePlus fans will take this, taking into account all the past commotion about the consolidation of OxygenOS with ColorOS.
OnePlus 10 Specifications
It was supposed to feature the Dimensity 9000 processor, but our sources tell us that OnePlus may have switched to the newly-launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor as a last-minute change. It will run Android 12 out of the box with OxygenOS 12.
In terms of imaging, the OnePlus 10 features a 32MP front-facing camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It can record up to 4K 60fps videos using the rear-facing camera and 1080p 30fps videos using the front-facing camera.
Interestingly, OnePlus has equipped this phone with 150W fast charging. Which is superior to the OnePlus 10 Pro’s 80W fast charging tech. In any case, the impending smartphone passes up wireless charging. It comes with a 4,800mAh battery and highlights an in-display finger reader and stereo speakers.
This phone will sit between the pricier OnePlus 10 Pro and the cheaper OnePlus 10R. It could launch sometime in July 2022 in India and other markets.
