Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be launching in August. Alongside the Flip 4, Galaxy Fold 4 will also be launching at the event. Allegedly, the event will take place on the 10th of August with general availability slated for the 26th of August. This information comes from reliable tipster Jon Prosser. Furthermore, TechTalkTV has now revealed the real-life images of the device as well.
Real-Life Images
The leaked images show the matte black variant of the Flip 4. Moreover, it seems the same as the Z Flip 3 as far as the design is concerned. Most of the changes will take place internally. However, there are two major changes in the design. Firstly, the cover display is now a 2.1″ Super AMOLED screen. Secondly, the hinge has gotten better and more durable with a less noticeable crease. Overall, the design seems more or less the same as the predecessor.
Expected Specifications
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is rumored to arrive with a 6.7″ FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display. Moreover, the cover display will be a 2.1″ screen as stated before. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. It will arrive with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the Z Flip 4 will pack a 3700 mAh battery. The device will support 25W wired and 10W wireless charging speeds.
For the cameras, it will have a 12MP main sensor accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The selfie shooter housed inside a punch-hole at the center of the display will be a 10MP sensor. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come in four color options, Graphite, Bora Purple, Pink Gold, and Blue. Lastly, the device will be running Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.
Price
It remains to be seen whether the price will come further down or will remain the same as last year. If the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes at around 50 or 100 bucks cheaper than last year, it will become the most affordable option by Samsung yet. It will definitely appeal the masses. Moreover, the reach that the Flip 3 achieved with its value proposition will be widened with the Flip 4.
