Tecno Camon 18 series was one of the best sellers in the brand’s history. Moreover, they aim to build on the 18 series’ success with the Camon 19 series. Four different variants of the TECNO Camon 19 series will be launched soon. The top-end device will be the TECNO Camon 19 Pro 5G. The Pro model is already turning out to be the talk of the town. That’s because it is among the first ones to come out with Android 13 Beta. Now, we have got a more detailed look at the device through exclusive promotional material. The posters also suggest a Snapdragon 8450 chipset.

The main highlight here is the moniker “Snapdragon 8450” which will be powering the Camon 19 Pro 5G. It may seem like a new chipset. However, it is worth noting the model number of Snapdragon 8 Gen1 is SM8450 which hints that Snapdragon 8450 is not a new chipset but Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
Furthermore, the device sports a 120Hz AMOLED panel with minimal bezels. The design philosophy will be the same throughout the series. The camera module will be in the shape of the infinity sign.
One of the key highlights of our protagonist is its cameras. The Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G will be spearheaded by a 64MP main lens. The primary sensor will be accompanied by 50MP and 2MP sensors. In addition, the main lens will also be optically stabilized. The front camera will be housed inside a centered punch-hole.
The icing on the cake is the latest Android version out of the box. The smartphone was earlier announced to come with Android 13 Beta. It is also the first phone to be running the Android 13 Beta as well. All this feels like a fantasy TECNO phone right?
However, there is a chance that Camon 19 Pro 5G may get two versions. One as a concept phone, and the other as a commercial phone. The major change to expect is the processor. The commercial phone is expected to be powered by a mid-range Dimensity 700 5G processor. However, we expect some fancy features to stay for the retail unit, such as the AMOLED display and 64MP main camera.
