The Vivo X80 Series debuted on April 25th in China. Finally, the X80 has made its way to the Pakistani market. There were two devices in the lineup. Vivo X80 is the standard variant while the other model was X80 Pro. The Pro variant has not launched in Pakistan due to high taxes and inflation. Pre-orders for the Vivo X80 start from today. Moreover, it will be generally available from the 24th of May.
Vivo X80
The Vivo X80 features a 6.78″ 1080p AMOLED display. Moreover, it has a 120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is surrounded by minimal bezels and also has an optical in-display fingerprint reader. In addition, the device measures 165×75.2×8.3mm and weighs 205 grams. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. It comes in 12GB+256GB configuration only in Pakistan. LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage are used in the device for fast speeds.
The X80 packs a 4500 mAh battery which charges at 80W normally and lacks wireless charging. Furthermore, Vivo features a flagship-grade camera system in the device. Rear-camera setup consists of three sensors. A 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP portrait telephoto camera. There is no periscope lens in the standard X80. Moreover, the front selfie shooter is a 32MP sensor. Lastly, the device runs Android 12 out of the box.
Pricing
The 12GB+256GB variant starts at RS. 159,999 in Pakistan. You can pre-order the device from today. However, general sales start from the 24th of May. The price is definitely higher than what should’ve been ideal. However, with the dollar rates higher than ever before this price was expected.
