OnePlus Ace recently launched in China. The device arrived with 150W charging tech and MediaTek Dimensity 8100. Furthermore, the device launched in India as the OnePlus 10R. Now, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is confirmed to launch in China on 17th May. The specifications have also been tipped by Mukul Sharma via Twitter.

Design

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition

The design looks very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Moreover, the device has a plastic backplate and the frame is made out of plastic too. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side. Camera module takes inspiration from the OnePlus 10 Pro. It melts into the rest of the backplate and three sensors are housed inside it.

Specifications

The device will feature a 6.59″ FHD+ IPS LCD panel. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max. A 4890 mAh battery will be charged via 65W. Furthermore, the device will arrive with up to 12GB RAM. For the camera system, it will have three sensors at the rear. A 64MP main sensor will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP sensor. In addition, the front selfie snapper will be a 16MP sensor. Lastly, the price is expected to be around 2000 CNY. The device will arrive in India under a different moniker.

The OnePlus Strategy

OnePlus’ intentions are clear. They want to throw everything at the wall to see what sticks. Some of it will stick, some won’t. But in the process, more consumers will be using OnePlus products than ever before. Consequently, they will make a whole lot of money. OnePlus, Realme, OPPO, and Vivo are sharing more and more similarities as we move forward. We are seeing more rebranded phones than ever before. The differentiating factor is minimal between these brands. Consumers may or may not like it. However, this is what OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo and Realme are doing.
