Samsung S22 ultra as we all know packs one of the most effective specs for 2022. Now Samsung is extending the like to older Samsung devices by extending the camera features. With the wonderful 108MP camera, anyone can produce better quality pictures, because of its wide features. Now it’s rolling out for Galaxy S21 series, and later sequentially, the update will be available for other devices.
Samsung has mentioned not all features will come to any or all models. The newest flagship models will receive all the features, but the older ones will miss a number of those. Samsung has also promised to bring a supported function (Only one function) to Galaxy S10, Note 10, S10 Lite, Note 10 Lite, and Z Fold within the last half.

Improved night portraits
Supported models: Galaxy S21, Z Fold3, S20, Note20, Z Fold2
Night photography is also provided with the telephoto lens in Portrait mode, thanks to the Nitography technology of the Galaxy S22. Take bright, stunning portraits even in darkness.

Improved/supported auto framing function
Supported models: Galaxy S21, Z Fold3, Z Flip3, S21 FE, Z Fold2, Z Flip 5G/LTE
The performance of the auto framing function in movie mode provided by the Z Fold and Z Flip series has been improved. It provides automatic Zoom In/Out and Tracking functions by recognizing the positions of up to 10 people at a distance of up to 5m. We also offer a new S21.

Improving the video call effect:
Video call app extension support: An app that supports video call effects has been added. Try using Samsung’s camera technology in your favourite video calling apps.
Video call effect support apps: BlueJeans, Duo, Google Meet, KakaoTalk, Knox Meeting, Messenger (Meta), Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, WebEx Meetings, Zoom.
Supported models: Galaxy S21, Z Fold3, Z Flip3, S21 FE, S20, Note20, Z Fold2, Z Flip 5G/LTE, S20 FE. S10, Note10, Z Fold, S10 Lite, Note10 Lite (planned in the first half of 2022)
Support for auto framing effects: The automatic framing function introduced earlier is also provided in the video call effect.
Background mode and auto framing mode are only supported by the front camera.

Improved App Store Camera app quality:
Supported models: Galaxy S21, Z Fold3, Z Flip3, S21 FE
Photos taken with social and camera apps downloaded from the App Store applied Samsung Camera’s image quality and optimization technology. Try taking HDR (High Dynamic Range) recordings in bright places and more vividly in dark places.

Z Fold 3 Pro Features Improvements:
Pro Mode Zoom Improvements: Even in Pro mode on the Z Fold 3 model, a telephoto lens is supported, allowing you to capture distant subjects.
Expert Raw support: The Z Fold 3 can now also support the Expert RAW app, a professional camera app. The Expert RAW app can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store in May.
