OnePlus Nord 2T is tipped to be launching soon. It will be the successor to the OnePlus Nord 2 launched last year. OnePlus Nord 2 was a hit in terms of sales. However, it lost its easy recommendation status later on. As some Nord 2 users started reporting their phones blasting. OnePlus didn’t clear the air and the mysterious cases started appearing again and again. It will be interesting to see whether OnePlus has worked on stability issues on its successor.
Design
Two colors of the device have been leaked. One is matte black while the other one is an olive green shade. Moreover, the camera module is huge with two flashes and two visible circles housing the camera sensors. One houses the 50MP IMX766 main sensor while the other has two sensors. Lastly, the display has a punch-hole for the selfie camera on the top left corner with minimal bezels all around.
Expected Specifications
OnePlus is going to launch the Nord 2T in India soon. Any update on the global launch is not known yet. The device is going to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. This chip will bring some minor upgrades to the Dimensity 1200. Furthermore, the device is going to sport a 6.43″ FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen similar to the Nord 2.
One of the main highlights of the device will be its 80W fast charging support for the 4500 mAh battery. Nord 2T will be borrowing the 80W SuperVOOC charging from the flagship 10 Pro. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset is going to be paired with 6GB/8GB/128GB RAM along with 128GB/256GB storage options.
Moreover, there will be a similar camera system in the Nord 2T. The main sensor will be a 50MP main lens. It will be accompanied by a 2MP mono and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Lastly, the phone will be running Oxygen OS 12 based on Android 12. It will be interesting to see which markets OnePlus will be targeting with this device.
