The wait is over. We have finally received confirmation about the OnePlus 10. Only the Pro model was launched till now. However, OnLeaks and Digit News have confirmed the existence of the OnePlus 10. The latest report claims that the device will launch in the second half of 2022.

Expected Specifications

Reportedly, OnePlus is testing two variants of the OnePlus 10. Both variants under testing have different processors. The phone will either feature the next-gen Snapdragon chipset or the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. If we had to guess, Dimensity 9000 is more likely to be used. Moreover, the design is also not confirmed.

According to a photo received by LetsGoDigital from user Shadow_Leak on Weibo, the OnePlus 10 could somewhat look like this:OnePlus 10

Furthermore, the OnePlus 10 will feature a 6.7″ OLED panel. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the display will have an FHD+ resolution and will feature LTPO 2.0 technology. Therefore, it will adjust the refresh rate from 1Hz-120Hz for better battery life. The device will come with either 8 or 12 gigs of RAM and 128 or 256 gigs of internal storage. Moreover, the vanilla 10 will run Oxygen OS 12 based on Android 12.

Moving on to the cameras, the OnePlus 10 will have a triple rear-camera setup. The main sensor will be a 50MP lens. Furthermore, it will be accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie snapper. In addition, the camera system will most probably feature the Hasselblad color science. The device will pack a 4800 mAh battery with 150W blazing fast charging support. Lastly, the OnePlus 10 will be the first OnePlus flagship to launch without the iconic alert slider.

Thoughts On The OnePlus 10

Based on all reports until now, the OnePlus 9 successor brings many upgrades over its predecessor. However, with the launch of this device, the existence of the Pro model comes into question. The OnePlus 10 has all the flagship ingredients with a potentially better chipset as well. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus places this device in the presence of the 10 Pro. Let us know what you think about this device.
