The Vivo X80 series is set to debut on April 25th. Reportedly, there will be three devices in the lineup. Vivo X80 Pro will lie between the standard X80 and the ultra-phone X80 Pro Plus. The specifications of the X80 Pro have been leaked entirely ahead of launch via 91mobiles and Ishan Agarwal.
Design
The design is similar to the Vivo X Note announced previously. There is a huge camera module covering the top of the phone’s back. A circular frame houses three camera sensors and has the Zeiss optics branding. Moreover, the periscope lens is placed below the circular frame. The frame will be metal. While the front of the device will be curved and will house a punch-hole cut out for the selfie shooter. Lastly, the material used at the back may differ from variant to variant. There might be a leather finish alongside the usual glass variant.
Specifications
Vivo X80 Pro will feature a 6.78″ 2K AMOLED display. Moreover, it will have a 120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The screen will be surrounded by minimal bezels and will also have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. In addition, the device measures 164.6×75.3×9.1mm and weighs 220 grams The X80 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8Gen1. It will be available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations. LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage will be used in the device for fast speeds.
Vivo X80 Pro will pack a 4700 mAh battery which will charge at 80W normally and 50W wirelessly. Furthermore, Vivo will feature a flagship-grade camera system in the X80 Pro. Rear-camera setup will consist of four sensors. a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP portrait telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical and 60x digital zoom. Lastly, the device will arrive with Android 12-based Origin OS in China.
