OnePlus Nord N20 will be launching in the US on April 28th. The device will be a direct sequel to the OnePlus Nord N10. Moreover, the device brings a lot of significant upgrades overall. We received official word from OnePlus COO Kinder Liu about the device. In an interview with PCMag, he revealed details about the Nord lineup.
Success Of Nord Series
OnePlus COO revealed that the Nord series has been hugely successful. OnePlus sold 2.5m Nord phones in the US in 2021. The BBK brand looks to build on that success with the Nord N20. OnePlus shared some specifications and an official render of the device in the interview. The design is the same as leaked before.
As leaked earlier, the Nord N20 will come with a flat-edge design. The bezels on the front are very minimal. Furthermore, the camera sensor is placed similarly to the S22 Ultra. There is no camera bump. Rather the lenses stick out of the backplate. A triple-rear-setup can be seen in the render.
OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord N20 will feature a 60Hz AMOLED screen. The size of the display will be 6.43″ diagonal. Moreover, they revealed that they had to choose between a 90Hz LCD and 60Hz AMOLED. They decided on the AMOLED panel. Which is the right decision in my opinion. In addition, They also confirmed that the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and SuperVOOC charging technology. Moreover, the battery will be a 4500 mAh cell.
