OnePlus is looking to expand its Nord lineup with OnePlus Nord Buds. These will be the first earbuds launched under the Nord branding. They are confirmed to launch alongside the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite on April 28th. Real-life images, as well as renders, have been leaked. Moreover, Yogesh Brar has also leaked the specifications of the earbuds.
Design & Specifications
The stem has a unique flat-edge design. Moreover, the stem is in a matte finish. However, the tip portion is in a glossy finish. Real-life images of the OnePlus Nord Buds in White have also been leaked.
The OnePlus Nord Buds will come with 12.4mm dynamic drivers. Moreover, they will have Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The buds will come with Dolby Atmos support and have a 94ms low latency mode as well. In addition, the Nord Buds will also be IP55 certified. The case will have a 480mAh battery capacity. While the buds themselves will have a 41mAh battery. Moreover, they will give you 7 hours of listening time on a single charge and 30 hours combined with the case. Lastly, they will also have a fast pair and fast charging support.
Expansion Of Nord Series
With the buds, OnePlus looks to expand its Nord lineup. The Chinese brand is also working on a smartwatch under Nord branding. In the future, we may see more and more kinds of products under the Nord lineup. Eventually, the Nord line of products may be converted into a sub-brand of OnePlus. However, that’s only speculation for now.
OnePlus’ intentions are clear. They want to throw everything at the wall to see what sticks. Some of it will stick, some won’t. But in the process, more consumers will be using OnePlus products than ever before. Consequently, they will make a whole lot of money and will have an ecosystem of products to choose from.
