POCO F4 GT will be launching globally on the 26th of April. The device will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. F3 GT was a hit last year. It offered a great gaming experience while maintaining the ingredients of a normal phone. Phones like the ROG series by Asus are catered toward the gaming audience. However, their looks and hand-feel are very polarizing. F3 GT had very subtle but useful features that made it a gaming device for the masses.
POCO F4 GT Specifications (Expected)
The F4 GT will feature a 6.67″ OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Moreover, the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will weigh 210g and will be 8.5mm thick. POCO F4 GT will feature the Snapdragon 8Gen1 paired with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. Furthermore, the device will pack a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The device will feature retractable triggers like last year’s iteration. Moreover, the POCO F4 GT will also have a built-in dual vapor chamber cooling. Considering the reviews about the 8Gen1 being hot, this is a much-needed step for a gaming device. It will help users game for longer periods without facing heating and throttling issues.
The camera system will include three sensors at the back. A 64MP main IMX686 will be accompanied by 8MP and 2MP sensors. There will be no optical image stabilization. There are no surprises here in this regard. As it is a gaming device and cameras aren’t the main focus. Moreover, the selfie shooter at the front will be a 20MP IMX596 sensor. F4 GT will feature an X-axis haptic motor for tight vibrations. Lastly, the device will also have WiFi 6 support.
Pricing
There are leaks about the price yet. However, we hope the F4 GT will be priced aggressively like its predecessor.
