Following the OnePlus 10 Pro launch, OnePlus will release a low-end variant of their Nord CE 2. The expected launch time is April. Yogesh Brar has tipped the specifications of the device. The leaked specifications hint at another rebranded device. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite may be a rebranded version of the Realme 9 Pro.
Design
There are three camera sensors in the camera module with a flash. The design is similar to the recently released Realme 9 Pro. The frame will most likely be made out of plastic. Moreover, the display has a punch-hole cutout towards the top-left. The bezels are decent overall. However, the chin is very noticeable but that’s a given at this price segment. Overall, it looks like a BBK device.
Expected Specifications
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC. Moreover, it will have a 6.58″ LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display will be an FHD+ resolution panel. Furthermore, the Nord CE 2 Lite will be packing a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device will be available in 6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage configurations. There will be no alert slider and the fingerprint sensor will be mounted on the side.
Moving on, the device will have a triple-rear-camera setup. A 64MP main sensor will be accompanied by 2MP mono and 2MP macro sensors. The front camera will be a 16MP sensor. It will be housed inside a punch-hole towards the top-left of the display. Lastly, the device will be running the Oxygen OS 11 skin. However, Yogesh states that Oxygen OS 12 is under testing as well. BBK brands are just putting out similar phones one after another. This is another one in the sea of similar devices launched by them. Nord CE 2 was a rebranded Reno 7 and now the Lite version is a rebranded Realme 9 Pro.
