OnePlus 10R To Be A Rebranded Realme GT Neo 3, No Alert Slider!

OnePlus is set to launch its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro globally. However, another device is rumored to launch after the 10 Pro. That device is the OnePlus 10R. 10R will be reportedly launching in May as a budget flagship option. Moreover, the device is rumored to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 3. This news has more significance to it as the OnePlus 10R won’t have an alert slider. In addition, there will be a centered punch-hole at the front like the GT Neo 3. Here are the alleged specifications

Expected Specifications

The upcoming OnePlus 10R will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8100. It will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it will feature a BOE AMOLED display. It will be a 6.7″ panel with an FHD+ resolution. Furthermore, the device will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. OnePlus 10R is going to feature an X-axis vibration motor for haptic feedback.

In addition, the alleged OnePlus 10R will be packing a 4500 mAh battery with 150W fast charging capability. In the camera department, it is going to have a 50MP main IMX766 sensor. It will be accompanied by 8MP and 2MP sensors. Moreover, the front camera may be placed in a centered punch-hole cutout. This will be the first time the BBK brand will offer a centered punch-hole if it does happen. The pricing and the configurations of the device have not yet been leaked.

Software

OnePlus has also announced that the plans for a Unified OS have been scrapped. They have admitted that they made a blunder with Oxygen OS lately. However, they will now go back to the original formula of success with lightweight and smooth skin. I hope they execute their plans well. This is OnePlus’ last chance at redemption. If they mess things up this time, they will become just a sub-brand of OPPO with no differentiator.
