Realme unveiled the GT Neo 3 series today in two editions. The phones come with big numbers on the specification scale, but how does that add up overall. Let’s see everything about the device.
Realme GT Neo 3
Specs
To start the Realme GT Neo 3 comes with MediaTek’s new 5nm Dimensity 8100 with RAM and storage options of 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the front, we see a 6.7″ AMOLED 120Hz display with FHD+ resolution.
Coming to the back we see a triple camera setup. Starting with a main 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor which comes with OIS. Then we see an 8MP secondary ultrawide sensor while a third 2MP macro sensor.
Now here is where the device splits into 2 variants. To power the device, it gets a huge 4500mAh battery along with 150W fast charging. Then the other variant is with a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Both speeds are very impressive but the 150W would catch one’s eye. 150W UltraDart charging fills the phone’s 4,5000 mAh battery from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes, which is amazing. But is it safe?
Realme says they have gone to extended measures to ensure the safety of the batteries. They are taking 38 battery security protective measures and a special temperature managing system that ensures the battery temperature remains under 43°C when it’s being charged. They also claim that the battery will not lose battery health any faster and that it will retain 80% of its capacity even after 1000 cycles.
Design & Colours
Realme GT Neo3 comes in black, Silverstone silver and Le Mans blue colours. The devices also look very sleek from the back with 2 stripes running across the side of the phone in a contrasting colour. The camera bump also isn’t huge which is always a plus.
